Residential trips
In the curriculum we recognise that children’s learning is enhanced by different experiences and enrichment. Enrichment helps children to develop their interests and abilities, provides valuable learning experiences outside their studies, and promotes independence and interpersonal links with other children in other year groups. We offer children a wide range of educational visits which are used to motivate and engage learning which improves retention. At Parc Eglos we also offer all KS2 children the opportunity of a residential trip each year. These include adventure and outdoor activities and cultural visits. Regular visitors in school give the children another perspective on values, attitudes, learning and understanding. These include charities, people from different professions and the community. Below are some examples of the different types of trips that we offer.
