1 BM

Oakleigh – Perseverance – Oakleigh has worked so hard with his maths. He was able to solve a challenging problem by using his number bonds to 20. Well done for trying again and achieving success!

Toby & Isla- Courage – We are very proud of Toby and Isla this week for the courage that they showed in PE. As gymnasts, both children used the agility tables within their sequences. The green table was high, well done!

Isaac & Lerryn- Enthusiasm – Thank you to Isaac and Lerryn for working with such enthusiasm during our maths session this week. We are very pleased with the level of independence that you are showing, well done!

Reader of the Week: Darcy – Darcy read all of the word cards with very speedy digraph recognition. She read with super expression and pace, and was able to use the contents page to find specific information about Otters. Very confident reading this week. Well done!

2 HE

Maisie-Grace– for her diligence in every aspect of her learning. I could choose Maisie-Grace every week, as she is the type of person to just work hard, keep focused and try her best. She has some fantastic things to add to our class discussions and her story of The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark has been amazing.

Lily– Lily is a very quiet member of the class but she is also incredibly diligent. Lily needs to start having some confidence in her abilities and being proud of what she is achieving. She has some great ideas and I have been very impressed with her story writing.

Special mentions for Orla and Florence who had a dance exam on Tuesday evening. Both girls were nervous and unsure. We spent some time going through their routines and working on some breathing techniques to help with the nervous. It sounds like they both absolutely smashed it!

Reader of the weekAmaya– Miss Sparrow has chosen Amaya this week for the great progress she is making in her reading intervention.

2 NE

Eva and Eli are learners of the week for their orderliness in their exercise books. It is lovely to see the pride they both take in making sure their handwriting is neat and it’s a pleasure to read. Thank you and keep it up!

Emily is learner of the week for her confidence, this week Emily has found a louder voice and it’s lovely to see her speak out with more confidence. Well done Emily, you’ve shown a lot of courage, keep it up.
